Alissa Xhixhabesi is a filmmaker based in New York City who works primarily with analog formats such as 16mm. She is a recent graduate of the Media Studies program at The New School, where she focused on documentary storytelling, media archiving, and digital strategy.

She has held internships at the Albanian Institute of New York and the United Nations Development Programme, producing multimedia content and managing communications campaigns aligned with global development goals. Currently an archival intern at the Filmmakers Cooperative, Alissa is continuing to work with avant-garde and analog film while producing and distributing her own work.
